Mark Sullivan, MSW
Mark Sullivan is a clinical social worker at the Washington Hospital
Center. He received his training in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT,
also known as "tapping") while doing a clinical counseling internship
at the Washington Cancer Institute, where he was also certified as a
level-one Reiki practitioner. As part of his lifelong interest in
mind-body and energy practices, he has studied shiatsu and has taught
tai chi and meditation. Mark is a novelist and musician and believes
that life is a profoundly creative endeavor undertaken in relationship
with others. His grounding presence allows clients to safely identify
the emotional and behavioral patterns that block their progress and
keep them from engaging fully with life. Mark holds an MA from Colgate
University and an MSW from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
